About

James Hrissikopoulos focuses his practice on real estate matters and the representation of land and mineral owners. He brings over a decade of experience handling a broad range of transactional issues, including commercial real estate transactions, title matters, and oil and gas interests.

Board certified in Oil, Gas & Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, James regularly advises clients on surface and mineral ownership, due diligence, and real estate financing. He has represented lenders in complex loan originations, workouts, and foreclosure proceedings involving commercial real estate assets.

Before entering private practice in Dallas, James operated his own transactional law firm in Corpus Christi, where he handled real estate transfers, entity formations, leasing, and estate planning. Earlier in his career, he worked as a petroleum landman in the Eagle Ford and Permian Basin, gaining valuable insight into mineral title, leasing, and landowner negotiations.

James earned his J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law, where he was active in pro bono work, and holds an M.B.A. in Finance and a B.S. in Biology from Texas Tech University.
