About

Mark Stahl is a litigator who represents clients before courts, arbitration tribunals, and administrative agencies.  In any setting, Mark’s goal is to transform complex issues into logical, easy-to-understand bites for his clients and the decision maker.

Mark’s talents stretch from written to oral advocacy.  Mark has drafted and responded to dispositive motions, discovery disputes, and demands, standing by his client and the written work in the courtroom.  He pays close attention to the merits of a dispute and the relevant procedure, always keeping in mind the best posture and legal standard to present arguments.  As a result, Mark has successfully represented clients in a variety of commercial and administrative disputes.

Before joining GDHM, Mark completed judicial clerkships in the Supreme Court of Texas and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.  His experiences as a judicial law clerk cemented his understanding of how to be an effective, credible advocate in front of a trial and appellate judge.  His background in engineering and mathematics also lead him to stay organized and approach issues methodically.

When not discussing the law, Mark can catch you up on his favorite video games, his go-to TV series, his top picks for fast food, and all things South Texas.  He also has a reputation for fixing computer problems, typing fast, and managing e-discovery well.
