Austin Bar Association Interviews Terry Bray for Past Presidents Project

GDHM attorney Terry Bray was interviewed by the Austin Bar Association as part of its first installment of the Past Presidents Project. A committee was formed by the Austin Bar to delve into the history and traditions of the association. During the interview, Bray shared insights about his legal career and his tenure as the Bar’s president, with committee member Raegan Lambert conducting the interview.

Terry Bray served as president from 1989-1990, when the Austin Bar Association was known as the Travis County Bar Association. Under his leadership, the association established the Water Law Section, which has since evolved into the Environmental Law Section.  In the 80s and 90s, he organized and chaired the Travis County Bar Real Estate discussion group, which morphed into the association’s Real Estate Committee; chaired the Real Estate Section of the State Bar of Texas; and was a director and officer of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers.
