Daniela Peinado Welsh Panelist at the Central Texas Law Summit

Daniela Peinado Welsh spoke on a panel for the Central Texas Law Summit last month titled “Should ChatGPT Be Your Next Lawyer?” The summit, hosted by the Center for Government and Civic Service at the Austin Community College Rio Grande campus, brought together practicing professionals and thought leaders to explore how artificial intelligence is integrating into the legal profession. The event was organized by Cate Thompson and Tzur Shalit. The summit included keynote speaker Kevin Frazier.

The panel brought together speakers Daniela Peinado Welsh (small business lawyer and shareholder at GDHM), Colin McNamara (technology executive and founder of Self-Improving Code), and Joshua Weaver (director of innovation at the Texas Opportunity & Justice Incubator), with moderator Carey Cranor, to discuss the intersection of AI and the legal industry.  They analyzed the challenges and opportunities the legal field is facing with nuance and an interactive conversation.
