On March 7th, GDHM attorney Daniela Peinado Welsh moderated the panel, Paths to the Bench, with Justice Gisela Triana of the Third Court of Appeals and Judge Daniella DeSeta Lyttle of the 261st Civil District Court. Justice Triana and Judge Lyttle shared their personal journeys to the judiciary, covering everything from the mechanics of running for elected office to the most rewarding aspects of being a judge. The event provided audience members with the opportunity to learn from and engage with legal professionals at the top of their fields.
The event was hosted by GDHM and Sanchez Law in conjunction with Cafecitos, a group of Latina lawyers dedicated to empowering the Austin community.
