GDHM attorneys April Griffin and Rudy Metayer were recently honored for their service as past presidents of the Austin Black Lawyers Association (ABLA). April and Rudy were recognized alongside other past ABLA presidents during the Andrea Pair Bryant Legacy Luncheon. The Legacy Luncheon is named in memory of Andrea Pair Bryant: a longtime patent attorney and ABLA founder.
As a growing organization for almost four decades, the ABLA has been at the forefront of Austin’s legal community. Its members are represented in every facet of the legal community as elected and appointed officials, educators, government attorneys and members of law firms of all sizes.
