Graves Dougherty Defends Online Anonymity at the Texas Supreme Court

Employment website Glassdoor defended the right of its users to remain anonymous in oral argument before the Supreme Court on Tuesday, September 19.  Represented by Graves Dougherty shareholders Pete Kennedy and Jim Hemphill, Glassdoor and the authors of two employer reviews are asking the Texas Supreme Court to hold that online retailer Andra Group abused Texas’ pre-suit discovery procedure and should have been penalized under Texas’ anti-SLAPP statute, the Texas Citizens Protection Act.  Read Texas Lawyer’s coverage of the argument here.
