Graves Dougherty is proud to announce it stands in solidarity with more than 500 law firms from across the country that filed an amicus curiae (friend of the court) brief in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, in support of Perkins Coie’s application for a permanent injunction against the executive order targeting the law firm. The brief, filed in connection with ongoing efforts to target lawyers for their pro bono work, underscores a fundamental principle of our legal system: the right to representation and the critical role that lawyers play in upholding the rule of law.
We are honored to stand with Perkins Coie and many others in the legal community to protect these core values. As this issue continues to unfold, we remain committed to supporting efforts that strengthen democratic institutions and ensure all individuals have equal access to legal representation.
