GDHM attorney Rudy Metayer has been inducted as a director of the Texas Lyceum Class of 2024. The investiture ceremony took place on January 19 at the Texas State Capitol. Rudy’s induction is a testament to his leadership skills and unwavering commitment to service. His service as a Lyceum Director will include leading discussions and programs on a wide range of issues impacting our state.

The Texas Lyceum is a statewide, nonpartisan, and non-profit organization that has a leadership legacy that spans more than 40 years. The 96-member Board of Directors is focused on providing civil discourse by bringing Texas leaders together who can provide a mixture of ideas and opinions that would seek to improve the future of the state of Texas. Among its alumni, the Lyceum counts those who have served our state and our nation at its highest echelons, including President George W. Bush, Senators Ted Cruz and Kay Bailey Hutchison, U.S. Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings, multiple U.S. congressmen, Governors Rick Perry and Greg Abbott, and U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Don Willett.
