The Board of Directors is responsible for planning and hosting the conference each year. Its members are composed of respected federal practitioners, many of whom, like Hailey, are former federal clerks. Hailey’s nomination reflects her strong commitment to furthering the goals and education of practitioners in the Western District of Texas. The Central Texas Federal Bench Bar Conference is an annual continuing legal education event that brings together members of the federal judiciary and distinguished legal practitioners from the Austin, San Antonio, and Waco divisions of the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas. The conference fosters meaningful dialogue between the bench and bar, highlights developments in federal practice, and strengthens the professional community that supports the federal courts.
