Graves Dougherty Hearon & Moody is proud to announce that Hailey L. Suggs has been elected a shareholder of the firm. Hailey initially clerked for the firm during her 1L and 2L summers while attending the University of Michigan Law School. She joined the firm as an associate in 2018 and later clerked for the Hon. Lee Yeakel in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas.
Graves Dougherty President, Matt Powers, remarked, “We are thrilled to welcome Hailey as a new shareholder. Hailey has demonstrated exceptional character, legal acumen, and dedication to client service since we first met her as a summer associate. We look forward to Hailey’s partnership as we continue to develop the firm’s next generation of legal excellence.”
Hailey is a key member of the firm’s litigation section, where she represents clients in a broad range of complex commercial disputes before state courts, federal courts, and arbitration tribunals.
Hailey commented, “It is a privilege to join the ranks of lawyers I truly admire. Their dedication to clients, the legal profession, and my hometown of Austin is what first attracted me years ago as a summer associate and continues to excite me as a new shareholder. GDHM has been with me every step of my legal career. I look forward to many more years of learning something new every day.”
