Graves Dougherty Announces New Firm Leadership

Graves Dougherty Hearon & Moody is pleased to announce new firm leadership as part of its ongoing commitment to serving clients and the Austin community, which has supported the firm since 1946. Real estate attorney and board member Peter Cesaro has been appointed President, succeeding Matt Powers, who has provided dedicated leadership since 2021.

Joining Peter Cesaro on the firm’s leadership team, environmental attorney and current board member Natasha Martin has been appointed as Vice President. Additionally, litigation attorney Chris Trickey has joined the board as an at-large director, succeeding Jim Hemphill in that role. Nicholas Miller and Matt Powers will remain on the board for the remainder of their terms.

“We are grateful for Matt Powers’ outstanding leadership as President and his dedication to the firm’s clients and culture,” said Cesaro. “Under his guidance, the firm has continued to grow and adapt to meet client needs while fostering the next generation of legal talent.”

The firm also extends its appreciation to Jim Hemphill for his years of board service. His insights and guidance have played a crucial role in shaping the firm’s strategic direction.
