On September 17, the Women Lawyers group held their first virtual event, “Beyond the Book.” To commemorate the centennial anniversary of the 19th Amendment and the long history of the women’s suffrage movement, the group held a book club style discussion on Susan Ware’s “Why They Marched: Untold Stories of the Women Who Fought For The Right To Vote.” Marianne Nitsch moderated the discussion with Kate Davy, Mary Keeney, Natasha Martin and Hailey Suggs as panelists.
